Howl, Sophie, and Calcifer from "Howl's Moving Castle" by Diana Wynne Jones.

I love the book, much more than the movie! I mean, the movie was beautiful to watch, but it just didn't make any sense, at least to me. The book made much more sense. But I do like the part in the movie where Sophie falls into the random black hole and screams "Find me in the futuuuure!"

I laughed so hard when Sofie stept too far in the seven-league boots, making her curse everytime it happened :XD:

Yes! But Howl and Sophie are sort of secondary characters in them, but they do show up. They're called "Castle in the Air" and "House of Many Doors"

More or less, yes. Sophie has red-gold hair in the book. I love the book, you should read it if you get a chance!
